Works
Walk in anytime during business hours. No reservation required. Check in at the front counter and let staff know what you're looking for.
All shooters sign a safety waiver before entering the range. Save time by signing online at SmartWaiver before you arrive — just show your confirmation at the desk.
Bring your own firearm or browse our 100+ rental fleet. Pick up ammo in our retail store. Grab eye and ear protection if you need it — available for rent or purchase.
Staff assigns your lane on the Bowie, Travis, or a private suite. Head to your assigned lane, set your target, and start shooting. RSOs are always present.
Unload, clear your lane, and return any rentals. Browse the retail store, ask about training classes, or sign up for a membership at the front desk.

Standard lanes on the Bowie and Travis ranges are $26.99 + tax per primary shooter — both are 25-yard ranges. Additional shooters sharing the same lane are $13.50 each. Private shooting suites (Alamo and San Jacinto) are $129/hour flat rate for up to 6 shooters.
No reservation is required — walk-ins are welcome every day during business hours. You can book a lane online through our RangeWorks system to guarantee your spot, which is especially helpful on busy Friday and Saturday afternoons.
No. We have over 100 firearms available for rental including handguns, rifles, and specialty firearms. Our staff will help you choose the right rental for your experience level. Ask about our Rental of the Day for a special daily deal.
Most common handgun and rifle calibers are permitted. Steel core, armor-piercing, tracer, and incendiary rounds are strictly prohibited on all ranges. Check our Range Rules page or call 936-271-2620 for a full list of approved calibers.
Shooters must be at least 10 years old. Shooters under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times on the range. All shooters must sign a safety waiver — parents or guardians sign for minors.
Monday–Thursday: 11am–7pm. Friday–Saturday: 10am–7pm. Sunday: 11am–6pm. Walk-ins welcome every day. Last lane assignments are typically 30–45 minutes before closing.
The Alamo and San Jacinto are fully enclosed private shooting suites available for $129/hour for up to 6 shooters. They're perfect for groups, birthday parties, corporate team outings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and private practice sessions. Book in advance to guarantee availability.
Yes, all shooters must complete a safety waiver before using the range. Save time by signing the SmartWaiver online at saddleriverrange.com before you arrive. The front desk will walk you through it on-site if you haven't signed in advance.
Closed-toe shoes are required on the range. We strongly recommend a crew-neck or high-collar shirt — hot brass casings eject from the firearm when you fire, and a V-neck can result in burns. Dress comfortably and avoid loose, dangling clothing.
Yes. You can bring your own factory-made ammunition. Reloads, steel core, armor-piercing, tracer, and incendiary rounds are not permitted. If you need ammo, our retail store carries a wide selection. Ammo purchased same day is required for all rentals.
