Essential Handgun: Enhance your handgun skills with our Essential Handgun course. This class is designed to help you master the necessary techniques to keep your firearm functioning smoothly when unexpected situations arise during shooting.

Who Should Attend

• This course is tailored for individuals who have completed our New Shooter Accelerator course, NRA Basic Pistol, or have a foundational understanding of firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, and firearm function.

Course Requirements

• Proficiency Demonstration: Participants must demonstrate basic firearm manipulation skills. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the course and a requirement to enroll in the Essential Handgun course or seek private instruction.

Prepare yourself for advanced training, such as our Everyday Carry classes, by mastering the essential skills in this course!

Details/Course Objectives:

• Correct Common Shooting Problems: Identify and rectify typical stoppages and malfunctions effectively.
• Clear Malfunctions: Gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving common issues that may arise while shooting.
• Reload Under Stress: Master proper reloading techniques in high-pressure scenarios.
• One-Handed Shooting: Develop proficiency in shooting with both your dominant and non-dominant hand.

• Basic Firearm Manipulation Demonstration
• Identification and Correction of Common Stoppages and Malfunctions
• Review of Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
• Demonstration of Various Reloads Under Stress
• One-Handed Shooting Techniques (Firing and Non-Firing Hand)
