Advanced AR

Prerequisite: Intermediate AR Level 2, prior experience, or foundational knowledge.

This class is designed to build upon the knowledge learned in Intermediate AR Level 2. It takes place at Whiskey Hollow and uses practical scenarios with walls and barricades while transitioning from rifle to pistol.

Topics Covered

• Shooting from different distances
• Shooting from different positions: standing, kneeling, prone
• Shooting and moving to cover and concealment
• Shooting with support hand
• Transitioning from rifle to pistol

Students Must Have

• AR style rifle with sling and sighting system
• Handgun with proper holster
• At least 2 magazines and 200 rounds of rifle ammunition
• 50 rounds of handgun ammunition
• Hearing protection and eye protection
